Josh Allen is one of five finalists for The Associated Press 2022 NFL Most Valuable Player award.
The fifth-year Bills quarterback joins Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow as finalists for the award.
Hurts, Jefferson and Mahomes are also finalists for the Offensive Player of the Year award, along with Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, but Allen and Burrow are not.
The winners will be announced Thursday, Feb. 9 at the NFL Honors in Phoenix.
Allen tied for second in the league with 35 touchdown passes in the regular season and ran for seven more, earning his second Pro Bowl selection.
Meanwhile, Bills coach Sean McDermott is a finalist for the Coach of the Year award, joining Brian Daboll (Giants), Doug Pederson (Jaguars), Nick Sirianni (Eagles) and Kyle Shanahan (49ers).
The Bills finished the season 14-4, winning their third consecutive AFC East title before losing in the divisional round of the playoffs to the Bengals.
